In the early 1980s while hiking along Oakville’s southwestern ridge, H. William Harlan discovered an isolated territory. The hidden expanse — ancient and untamed — moved him deeply, but remained elusive until the Harlan family finally captured it in 2008. As the second generation explored and worked with the land, they began to make discoveries of their own. At the core of this wild terrain they found a powerful geologic convergence, which had shaped its steep, rugged topography, and created the conditions for an altogether exotic winegrowing environment.

Over time they found that the dramatic landscape — just beyond the edge of the known — would slowly change them, and ultimately inspire a new endeavor: Promontory.

This exquisite limited edition is the culmination of Joy’s pioneering spirit, inventive mind, and dedication to her craft. This 25 year old minimum aged rum includes rum aged up to 35 years, and is a reflection of the woman who created it — an embodiment of passion, love, and, above all else, joy.

Overture reflects the winemaker’s artistry by showcasing the talent of blending five traditional Bordeaux grape varieties and capturing terroir characteristics of the same variety grown in different soils. However, Overture’s third blending aspect – that of marrying multiple vintages – yields a softer, rounder expression of our estate that can be enjoyed upon release.

Located in the southeast corner of Chianti Classico, in the commune of Castelnuovo Berardenga, vineyards for Arcanum are among the most prized in Tuscany. There, international winemaker Pierre Seillan draws on his experience in Bordeaux and California to produce three Bordeaux-style blends from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

In Roman mythology, Zeus’ daughters, The Three Graces, embody beauty, mirth and elegance — attributes that are expressed in the release of Stones No. 3. The Graces presided over banquets and gatherings, to delight the gods and their guests. They brought beauty to the world and were the inspiration behind our design for this package.
